Location

In Person at BARDO Barn

Coaching sessions can take place from my office at BARDO Barn, a countryside setting near Bath, with access to a two-acre garden. Alongside conversation-based coaching, I use a range of practical, experiential tools designed to help you notice and work with your nervous system responses in real time. Depending on your needs, this may include guided reflection, meditation practices, embodied exercises, or walk-and-talk coaching in the garden. At certain times of the year, nature itself can become part of the process through simple observation work.

Online via Zoom

For clients further afield, sessions can also be delivered online via Zoom, offering flexibility while maintaining the same depth of coaching. I adapt the tools and exercises to work effectively in a virtual setting, helping you build awareness, insight, and practical strategies that support meaningful change.

Many clients choose a blend of in-person and online sessions, combining the benefits of face-to-face experiential work with the convenience and continuity of virtual coaching.

Why Neuroscience Coaching?

Applied Neuroscience Coaching, Psychology, and Counselling all support change and wellbeing, but they do it in different ways.

Applied Neuroscience Coaching focuses on how the biology of the brain and nervous system drives behaviour. It uses neuroscience research to help you understand and rewire patterns like overthinking, avoidance, or stress responses. It’s future-focused and action-oriented, helping you build practical strategies to change how your brain responds in real life.

Psychology is broader and more clinical-research-based, looking at thoughts, emotions, behaviour, and mental health across a wide range of conditions. Psychologists may assess, diagnose, and treat clinical issues, often working within structured therapeutic models.

Counselling is primarily a talking-based support process that helps people explore feelings, experiences, and challenges in a safe space. It tends to be reflective and supportive, helping you make sense of what’s going on rather than directly rewiring behaviour.

In short: neuroscience coaching helps you change patterns, psychology helps you understand and treat mental processes, and counselling helps you process and work through emotional experience.
